Submitted by Norfolk Southern Corp, this photo was most likely taken in Atlanta during the late forties. This is based upon the Pegram style trim and that this class of locomotive worked in Atlanta during this time. As for the photographer, the photo is most likely the work of Lowe, Sharpless, Ardrey or perhaps Dave Salter.
