TVRM "Hook & Eye" Blue Ridge Scenic RR Excursion

Thursday, May 20 (includes bus and lunch)

If you don’t get to the museum by 5:00 PM on Wednesday to purchase your tickets, simply be at the parking lot of the Kennesaw Community Center (2749  Watts Drive, see map below) before 7:30 a.m. (bus departure time), and you can pick up your ticket then. (or simply be admitted via a list the trip monitor will have)

If you have pre-registered and purchased tickets for the excursions, simply show up at the pick up point.  We will confirm your registration at the site.

The community center is about 4 blocks west of the museum and is just off US 41.

We will re-board the busses for a one hour trip to McCaysville, Ga., to ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway south to Ellijay where the busses will meet us to return to Kennesaw by approximately 6:45 p.m.  

The box lunches will be delivered to the busses after the Etowah trip returns so people can eat on the ride to McCaysville.

For people riding on the bus and taking both the Etowah and Blue Ridge Scenic Excursions, their Blue Ridge Scenic ticket will need to be presented to receive a box lunch. ONLY people who have registered for the bus, lunch and both excursions will be given a box lunch!
