Norfolk Southern Lawmen Concert

The Evening of Saturday May 22nd

The Norfolk Southern Lawmen have been strumming and singing county music since the late 1950’s, when Southern Railway assembled a group of employee musicians from the railroad’s Police department to entertain at company functions.  Although some of today’s fourth-generation Lawmen were NS police officers, its members are now full-time singers and musicians who represent Norfolk Southern at employee, customer and state police functions across the NS system.  The Lawmen act as Norfolk Southern’s goodwill ambassadors.

The Lawmen perform at Norfolk Southern’s Brosnan Forest in Dorchester , SC , for corporate meetings from October to March and travel steadily from April through September entertaining thousands.  Besides delighting crowds with their own special brand of country music, the Lawmen use these public appearances to enhance customer and public awareness of Norfolk Southern, The Thoroughbred of Transportation.
