SRHA Annual Convention

Chattanooga, Tennessee, May 19th - 21st, 2017

Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum will be hosting this year's convention.  All events will take place or begin at the TVRMís Grand Junction facility at 4119 Cromwell Road.

Itinerary:

Friday Night: Night photo shoots and clinics.  Meet at Grand Junction at 8:30, photography will begin at 9:00 PM.

Saturday Morning:  A double headed steam excursion (630/4501) to Summerville, GA and return. The train departs at 9:00 AM and returns at 6:00 PM.  This will include lunch on the train consisting of smoked turkey croissant sandwich with potato salad, chips, fruit cocktail, and a dessert.

Saturday Evening:  Annual Membership Meeting begins at 7:00 PM. The meal will include of buttermilk fried chicken or braised beef, four cheese macaroni and cheese, green beans, squash casserole, salad rolls, and berry shortcake with whipped cream or double chocolate brownie for desert.  The keynote speaker will be TVRM's Tim Andrews.

Sunday Morning:  Missionary Ridge Local and Shop Tour begins at 9:30 AM and ends at 11:45 AM.  This event is included with registration.

Important Reminders:

a) Hotel room registrations have to be made on or before 4/12/2016
b) SRHA registration must be received by 5/06/2017
c) Late registrations or walkups are not guaranteed a seat at the events
and the Annual Meeting because we have to give the caterer the number of people attending in advance. If seats are available, you can attend all events.
